If you have any of the following popular free software, you ought to upgrade ASAP to get various security updates which fix recently discovered vulnerabilities:

Opera browser, super-fast and powerful (reason)
RealPlayer music and video player (reason)
IrfanView image viewer, which is also great for taking screenshots which show the mouse pointer (reason)

Also be careful if you're installing what you think is a Skype plugin - it could be a trojan.
