Mobile networks & data - video, mobileCamp London 2007
Sunday, October 07, 2007Here's a video of a clear and helpful presentation on mobile data and the networks (essential viewing for mobile developers, I think) by Sam Machin, who happens to work for Orange, though this talk was in his private capacity as a mobile developer in his spare time.
He provides very interesting and useful insights into how the mobile networks deal with data (at least in the UK), including the good, the bad and the ugly of the services that developers can (or can't) tap into, covering issues from access and security to identity and charging, at mobileCampLondon 2007, 29-30 September 2007 (33:12):
