Redirecting your blog's feed has to be done on your webserver, which may be why you've seen little on it - it depends on your server setup. So you need to go to your web host for help really. See this example (for new subscribers, you probably just want to do that for your old feed but it depends how many subscribers you currently have, you don't want to lose them).

It may be best to grit your teeth and switch to a custom domain hosted by Blogger rather than ftp to your own server. See this post for tips on how to switch etc.

Hi, I've been going through your posts about Feedburner and they are comprehensive and great! Helpful in many ways. Thanks a lot.

But, of course, I have one problem I can't find an answer for. Ive seen this question asked in the Feedburner and Blogger help groups a few times (I have searched them) but haven't seen an answer. To wit:

All authorities say that after burning a Feedburner feed existing feeds should be redirected to it.

However, I have an old, "classic" Blogger template hosted at a custom domain (www.scrivener.net).

When I go to "settings/site fee" to try to set the "Post Feed Redirect URL" box, it does not exist. (I assume this is a result of classic template, my own domain.)

For the record, what exists in "advanced mode" is...

Site Feed URL
Site Feed Filename
Site Feed Path
Blog Posts Feed
Blog Comment Feed
Per-Post Comment Feeds
Post Feed Footer

That is all.

So ... is there anything a can do, or need to do to redirect existing feeds? (I'm hoping it's automatic these days, but...)

thank you for your insight i am an australian mother of 5 who were all caesarian section births but didn't have a problem until my 3rd child when i continually vomitted until no morphine was in my system it only occured when i was raised past a 45 degree angle so was flat on my back for 24 hours until an alternative was found they now have on my records a precise mix for general anethsetic that stops this problem and i was fine with my last 2 births
i don't have problems with coedine and require it daily for pain due to chronic illness but panadeine forte is the strongest i can have without reaction i also had problems with pethadine temazapan and other strong pain relief and sleeping medication does anyone know if these all have a common ingredient that might cause these reactions or maybe my system is just too sensitive
alternative pain relief is available in things such as a TENS machine which sends electrical impulses to block nerves but is only for pain relief after ops i'd welcome any suggestions as am due for an op in next few months

Hi

I have the same darn problem for about a month now and haven't been able to get rid of it. Other than the pop up some fusion ace enterprises's website was set as my homepage and wudn't change. I scanned it with true sword and ESET NOD32 Antivirus , but on the window it still appears as Facebook Home - Fusion Ace enterprises - Internet Explorer, and the pop up still appears. I have no idea what started it but I need help.

Click on + sign at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.

Click on + sign at SYSTEM.

Click on + sign at CurrentControlSet.

Click on + sign at Control.

Click on Windows there.

Can you see ErrorMode key on the right side panel?

Double click on ErrorMode and change the value data 2 and click on ok.

Excellent site! It's amazing that this message can have so many possible causes. I tried many of the remedies posted without success, then went back to one of your earliest ones - removing the floppy drive controller (without success).
What worked for me is simply leaving a blank floppy in the drive.
Having narrowed it down this far, does anyone have any ideas how to "really" solve the problem?

Since the source of this problem seems to be different for most, tracking down the offending service or application can be difficult. I have discovered a way to locate the service or process that might be helpful to those that are having trouble identifying the problem application. Follow these steps: 1) Open Task Manager and select the "Processes" tab. 2) Click on the "CPU" column so that the most active processes will be at the top of the list. 3) Now if the "Windows - No Disk" dialogue is present begin to click on the "Try Again" button. At the same time watch the list of processes in the Task Manager window. 4) Look for a process that begins to show up towards the top of the list as you continue to press the "Try Again" button. You can confirm by no longer clicking on "Try Again" and the process will fallback to a lower level on the list.

Once you have identified the offending process or application. You can either attempt to figure out what is causing the problem, or simply launch "MSCONFIG" and disable the application so that it doesn't run. In my specific case I found that a service associated with Cyberlink was the problem. Good luck.

I couldn't find the E169G anywhere, so I bought a ZTE MF627 from PC World 2 days ago, and found that in fact you can now get the ZTE modems working with netbooks like the eeepc - I have an eeepc 1000 with ubuntu netbook remix installed, and that works beautifully with the ZTE MF627 after installing a few extra packages. Googling for 'zte-mf627-easy-way' should find them.

Unfortunately, following the steps above continued to result in the application not launching for me. My attempts were with the 2.0.0.21 install file. After cleaning up the directories as listed above, I then downloaded an older version from http://www.oldapps.com/thunderbird.htm. This install did the trick and I can once again launch Thunderbird.
