Firefox users: critical security vulnerability
Wednesday, July 15, 2009If you use the Firefox browser there's a critical Javascript vulnerability so until Mozilla manage to fix it you ought to take the steps mentioned in this post in order to protect your computer.
For those new to this, to set the value stated to "false" after following the instructions mentioned, rightclick on the "javascript.options.jit.content" line and select Toggle from the menu. (And again to change it back when it's sorted).

Cool. Thank you for the update.
I always felt that Firefox was a pretty secure browser. Oh well. No harm, no foul.

Chris, Firefox is still pretty secure especially with NoScript.
And in fact they've been very quick off the mark to address this, you can now download Firefox 3.5.1 to fix this.
