The Get Into London Theatre (GILT) scheme, run by The Society of London Theatre, has been going for a few years now. I've been several times and always found it well worth it. As a dedicated consumer, I always like a bargain!

You can get tickets at discounted prices for loads of West End shows - not just musicals but also plays, opera, ballet and other entertainment. But it only runs during the quiet season, this year from 10 January to 17 March. So if your idea of London nightlife is a good show, and you want to take advantage of the special prices before this year's offer period ends, best book quick - only a few weeks left to run! Check out the listings of available shows. You can book on the Net.

They've also teamed up with restaurants, hotels and travel and parking companies to offer special deals from them.

Speaking of Musicals, There is a popular new group on Yahoo called THE JUDY GARLAND EXPERIENCE. They have amazing rare audio files that are changed twice weekly, great photo's, lively discussions, and a membership that not only includes Judy's fan's, but her family members, friends, people who worked with her, author's of Garland biographies, Garland Historians, people who have created and/or directed film and theater projects about her, and many more. The only thing missing is you!
Please check it out.

Thanks Imp! funnily enough I've been looking to book theatre tickets and have seen so many sites, one doesn't know where to go, or which are the true bargains! This is fantastic, going to book me some now:-)

Thanks Gaylene, yes this is a reputable discount scheme, but it does expire soon as the point is to get bums on seats during the quieter season, so I guess you'll be pretty busy for the next few weeks! Enjoy!
